The Community Center will open to the public on July 6. Three departments are currently moving:
- Recreation and Community Programs
- Human Services, including the Senior Center
- Transportation and Lexpress

Announcing the 2015 Lexington Citizens' Academy! This eleven-week interactive program allows participants the opportunity to:
- engage with Town departments,
- learn more about the services provided by their local government, and
- discover new opportunities for public involvement.
The The Academy will begin on Tuesday evening, September 15. You may contact Deputy Town Manager Linda Vine for more information or to register.
Mental Health First Aid Training, an 8-hour course on how to help someone experiencing a mental health problem or crisis until professional help is available, is available to Lexington residents. To register, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. You must complete both the “A” and “B” training to receive certification.
->Adult MHFA course scheduled for the Sat. July 12 (Part A) & Sun. July 14 (Part B) course.
->Youth MHFA courses are scheduled on Tuesday evenings from 5 to 9 pm:
June 23 (A) & June 30 (B), or July 14 (A) & July 21(B).
Department Of Public Works is scheduling crews to clean the Center area on a regular basis beginning June 22 and continuing until November 13. Workers will come in at 5:00 am on Mondays and Fridays and use a new backpack blower that is less noisy than the previous blowers we were using. This work is important to the overall maintenance and cleanliness in Lexington Center during warmer weather when many people are out and about.
